In the world of luxury yachts, the demand for seamless control of audio and video integration is paramount. Horizon Yachts embarked on an ambitious project, seeking an integrated AV system that would meet the demands of a discerning client with a 125-foot super yacht, Vin Xan. Horizon engaged Bridger Automation, who leveraged the power of RTI control and automation to deliver a customized, elegant control experience.

The Mt Lawley renovation project sought to blend a top-notch AV system into an elegant Mt Lawley family home, all while maintaining the exquisite interior decor. The primary objective was to deliver an amazing surround sound experience without the technology detracting from the room’s aesthetics.

A series of reception rooms in a major Sydney venue receive an AV overhaul. Doltone House is a major venue and catering management company servicing a huge number of venues across NSW. Club Marconi in Western Sydney hosts a set of busy function rooms for Doltone House. Catering for weddings, awards ceremonies, corporate presentations and similar events, its spaces require reliable, high-performance AV and lighting.

To assist with this process, and following extensive market analysis, the entity chose to subscribe to the Blue Lucy Automation for Media (BLAM) Platform hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and managed through local ANZ partner Amber Technology.

Sonance Speakers bring the winning edge to a new sporting complex and indoor playing facility.

The Rockingham Cambio Cumbre Futsal Club and Sports Facility – or in its shortened version, the Cumbre Sports Facility – is a new complex in Port Kennedy, Western Australia, located about 60kms south of Perth and dedicated to a growing range of indoor sports and also looking towards hosting relevant services like health clinics and physiotherapy services. Although the building is new, at the heart is the Cambio Cumbre Futsal club, a team that’s been national champions several times over and state champions almost every year since its foundation in 2013.

Electronic Living Brings Audio Experience for Soko Rooftop Under Control With RTI

Open air, sky-high views, amazing food, and incredible audio are being served up at Soko Rooftop in Brisbane, Australia. Everything about the restaurant is customized to deliver a memorable fine dining and lounge experience, including the RTI control system. AV integrator Electronic Living was tasked with creating an audio and control solution for the Soko that matched the restaurant’s Amazonian vibe while offering the 
same exceptional control experience the staff enjoy at sister location, Lina Rooftop. 





A sound and vision renaissance brings Goulburn’s Old Cathedral into the 21st century.

As the restoration of the magnificent Gothic church moved to the interior works phase, the project sought advice from Amber Technology.

A century and half from its commencement, the Old Cathedral has completed a decades-long, $12m restoration which has not only returned the fabric of the building to its original glory but also brought the building into the 21st century with a state-of-the-art Renkus-Heinz sound system and a network-based control, distribution and AV streaming solution.

RTI Control Solutions Deliver Customization and Ease of Use for Unique Holiday Home on Australia’s South Coast

Overlooking Werri Beach in Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, the Bunker House was built as a dream holiday home for the Hipwell family. Featuring a design inspired by mid century architecture and local history, the aptly named residence resembles a concrete bunker with its sharp lines, floor-to-ceiling windows, matte black accents, and of course, concrete walls. Spread over three levels, amenities include seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an ocean-facing pool, steam room, gym, large outdoor deck with built-in barbeque facilities, and the latest smart home technologies.

A state of the art address with 72 resident beds, it has multiple gathering and activity spaces, a stunning garden and even on site hairdressing salons. Romani Aged Care is an RSL Care SA facility catering for the elderly on the banks of the Murray River.

The Australian Racing Drivers' Club was planning on upgrading its public address and audiovisual facilities at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek, Sydney. The Avit Group won the tender for the upgrade and the success of the bid largely came down to a willingness to repurpose the ageing Peavey Media Matrix Nion DSPs.

Anna Baird created Bared Footwear thirteen years ago to create shoes that not only look good, but were also good for your feet, the planet and the communities that work in the shoe production process. With two existing store locations in Melbourne CBD, Bared Footwear were looking to expand with a flagship store in Sydney. After many months looking, Anna Baird found the perfect location in Sydney’s CBD. The King Street boutique is a two-storey masterpiece featuring extensive timber paneling and floor-to-ceiling windows. The design was inspired by the colonial heritage precinct across the road while incorporating reconciliation, public accessibility and sustainability into the overall design.

The HIVE (Hub for Immersive Visualisation and eResearch) at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, is one of the most advanced visualisation facilities of its kind, and the only one in the world that contains five different large-scale visualisation displays.

The Estate

The Estate is an 8-acre property in Queensland built with family living and entertaining in mind. 

Built during the COVID-19 pandemic, this created a unique set of challenges with supply chain disruption across multiple industries. The size of the property, plus the number of individual buildings and outdoor areas that all needed to be connected to the smart home system via a fibre network, required significant coordination and planning between the different trades and suppliers. 

The focus of this case study is the extensive use of Sonance throughout the property.

Sonance CEDIA APAC Awards 2019

Winner of Best Innovative System - Smart Home Solutions

Smart Home Solutions used a house music amp to receive all of the home’s music sources and back-fed audio from the TVs. They then sent the ‘loop’ audio to a processor as well as amplified audio to concealed Sonance speakers.

All speakers were concealed within linear air conditioning grills both functional and dummy.

No speakers at all were visible. The net effect in all spaces was clear, crisp audio emanating from an unidentifiable source.

Orange Ex-Services Club, AV Upgrade

Orange Ex-Services Club is a community club located in rural NSW. The Coral Sea Room is the main function room of the Club, a 400 seat cabaret-style room catering for a wide variety of functions ranging from weddings and gala dinners through to meetings for the Club’s members.

The Coral Sea Room underwent a major refurbishment in October 2015, which included the installation of a new PA system for the room.

The National Trusts of Australia (NTA) are community-based, non-profit, non-government organisations committed to promoting and conserving Australia’s indigenous, natural, and historic heritage. The NTA (Victoria) is the producer behind the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition (MFMMCE) at the historic Rippon Lea mansion in Melbourne, Victoria. The exhibition features costumes and props from the popular Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries television program featured on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).

KVM connects users to enable learning

Correctional Facility enable learning and recreational outcomes

A high security correction facility in Australia was installing an in-cell computer and video access system to allow education learning and controlled recreational activities for inmates. 110 centrally managed computers were needed to connect to a workstation comprising of a keyboard, screen, audio and mouse. The “in-cell” workstations needed to provide access to content, internet and additional facilities for remote learning and other activities. Access and availability needed to be centrally managed by correctional services staff based on the security and user requirements.

Bringing e|MERGEnce 3D sculpture to life at VIVID Sydney

Vivid Sydney is an annual festival of light, music and ideas where art, technology and commerce intersect, held in May - June each year in the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas. The event attracts more than one and a half million visitors over 18 days. The Buchan Group, an Australian-based international design practice, created the innovative interactive sculpture installation e|MERGEnce in 2014. e|MERGEnce was a 3D sculpted head rising from Martin Place that visitors could interact with in real time, creating a vision of sound, colour and lights. Optoma projectors were chosen to create the projection component of the installation and facilitate the visual interaction with visitors.
