SKS TECHNOLOGIES ADELAIDE OFFICE FITOUT

The SKS team in Adelaide recently moved into a larger office space at Mile End, which was a much-needed upgrade. However, the new executive boardroom and smaller meeting rooms struggled with poor acoustics, making them less than ideal for conferencing. While the space was visually appealing, it came with the common trade-off of acoustic challenges. The boardroom, with a full-length glass wall, several windows, and a large boardroom table, created significant sound issues. Additionally, three smaller meeting rooms, designated as 'live' conferencing spaces, also needed acoustic treatment. Recognizing the need for professional assistance, Steven Falcinella from SKS sought help from Brenton Eckersley, Amber Technology’s Account Manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory, to tackle the problem.

Optoma emerges on VIVID 2014

Bringing e|MERGEnce 3D sculpture to life at VIVID Sydney

Vivid Sydney is an annual festival of light, music and ideas where art, technology and commerce intersect, held in May - June each year in the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas. The event attracts more than one and a half million visitors over 18 days. The Buchan Group, an Australian-based international design practice, created the innovative interactive sculpture installation e|MERGEnce in 2014. e|MERGEnce was a 3D sculpted head rising from Martin Place that visitors could interact with in real time, creating a vision of sound, colour and lights. Optoma projectors were chosen to create the projection component of the installation and facilitate the visual interaction with visitors.
